About TimeCardZone
TimeCardZone is a free time card calculator built around one complaint: most timesheet calculators either fake their overtime math, bury multi-break support in a settings screen, or gate the PDF/CSV export behind an account and an email address. This one doesn't do any of that.
What it actually does
- Real overtime, not cosmetic overtime — weekly (FLSA, over 40 hours/week) and California daily (over 8 hours/day, double time over 12 hours/day, with the weekly 40-hour rule still checked on top).
- As many breaks per day as an actual shift needs, each one subtracted from that day's worked time — not one lunch field and nothing else.
- Overnight shifts (in at 10:00 pm, out at 6:00 am) compute correctly instead of turning into a negative number.
- Free PDF and CSV export, with no account, no email capture, and no usage limit.
- Every total shown two ways — decimal hours and hours:minutes — since different payroll systems expect different formats.
What happens to your data
Nothing leaves your browser. There's no account because there's no server-side database to have an account with — every calculation runs in JavaScript on your machine, and your rows, rate, and settings are saved only in this browser's local storage. See theprivacy policy for the specifics.
What this tool isn't
It isn't a payroll system, and it isn't legal advice. It implements two specific, common overtime rule sets correctly; it doesn't cover every state or country's labor law. If a calculation here affects a real paycheck or a dispute, check it against your employer's payroll department or your local labor authority — see theterms for the full disclaimer.
